Mae’r Cyfansoddwr Brian Hosefors a'r Librettwr/Cyfarwydd Ceri J Phillips wedi dod ynghyd i greu opera yn seiliedig ar waith y bardd Cymreig o'r 6ed ganrif, Taliesin.
Bu darnau o ‘Cad Goddeu’ ei berfformio yn theatre y Ffwrnais, Llanelli yn ddiweddar, gydag adborth arbennig oddi wrth pawb a ddaeth I’w wylio. Gyda chyfuniad o elfennau clasurol a straeon traddodiadol, mae'r gwaith newydd cyffrous hwn yn anelu at ddod â straeon hynafol Prydain, sydd wedi'u canu ers tro, i gynulleidfaoedd cyfoes. Gyda chymorth enfawr gan Gyngor Celfyddydau Cymru, Theatrau Sir Gar, a People Speak Up, mae Brian a Ceri yn gobeithio cymryd y gwaith hwn mor bell a chyfar â phosibl.
