In early 2020 we had just launched our new stories by doorstep, reaching older people in rural parts of our community in Carmarthenshire. This was in partnership with Carmarthenshire United Support Project. But in March 2020 we transferred this project to the phones in response to COVID 19.
Before Lockdown, we were facilitating a storytelling project in the community. Recieving referrals from our CUSP partners, we would viist and older person living in their home and gift them with a story from a professional storyteller.
To meet the needs of our community, we partnered with Beyond the Border Storytelling Festival, working with storyteller Phil Okwedy and worked with three women and a group of residents in a care home.
