Garden and Craft Workshops

Over the next few weeks we are running free Garden and Craft themed workshops, thanks to funding from Local Places for Nature.

Tuesday 21st January, 1pm-3pm
Natural pigments workshop

As part of Arty Afternoon at People Speak Up, Llanelli, our Volunteer and Community Garden Co-ordinator, Cerys, will be leading a session where you can explore using organic produce such as fruit, vegetables, clay and earth to painting pigments as a sustainable alternative to paint with.
Its a free session and everyone is welcome to attend.

Monday 24th February, 10.30am-12.30pm
Nature weaving workshop

Its February half term week and we are hosting two free intergenerational workshops open to anyone - young people, adults and some of our older participants. A great way to enjoy the great outdoors this half term.
Learn how to use fabrics and garden materials such as grass and other plants to weave different creations and hopefully we may even make a PSU garden fence.

Help make the PSU Bug Hotel

Would you like to help make the PSU Bug Hotel that will sit outside our home at People Speak Up, Park Street, Llanelli. We are aiming to use natural sustainable materials to create a hotel stay for some of our garden friends.

PSU Gardening Club - starting soon

Spring is in the air and we are already thinking about our Community Garden 2025 programme...
Would you like to learn more about gardening or would like to share tips and meet other green fingered friends?
We are looking to start a new Gardening Club here at PSU in Llanelli in the next few weeks. We are hoping to hold a fortnighthly club that meets at PSU and might also want to volunteer and help us grow and maintain our community garden too.
